Advent Dark Journal 2026

Please join me this holiday season to provide space for your daily creative practice amidst the commercial blaze of the holiday season.

Advent Dark Journal is a six-week art, ritual, and writing workshop that invites a sense of reverence during the holiday season led by Suzi Banks Baum from November 29, 2026, through January 10, 2027.

What you get:

Everything about Advent Dark Journal was what I needed, what I was looking for over the Solstice/Advent time period. So many opportunities for reflection, exploration, crafting, and discovering parts of my deepest self. My heart-felt gratitude to you and all those who participated and shared in this community.

Advent Dark Journal transcends any particular religious tradition and brings us into the true heart of the season. It’s all about dark and light, welcoming both; generativity, community and joy.

I have a new recognition of much I love making little, little books. Your book forms were completely accessible and encouraged me to make many. I have a lovely stash of fresh empty books sitting on a corner of my desk, which delights me. They remind me that I always have a place to begin.
